"Clean, impressive, wonderful rooms, Staff are lovely (for those that have said they aren't friendly, I would say just talk to them rather than expect them to jump through hoops for you just because you are a guest, they do like a chat!) It is a developing Castle Hotel, clearly has had some beautiful renovation done to keep its style, the Breakfast has plenty of choices and the dining rooms are comfortably spaced. Plus points; 1 The location, sit out by the lake to watch the sunrise or set. 2 The pomp and glamour of being there is fantastic. 3 The quality of service. Minus points; 1 It would be nice to have a few social ideas added to the week such as perhaps an outside BBQ evening or Wine tasting. It would help encourage guests to socialise as well as a chance for the staff to be more interactive. 2 The place has a Bar! We did not know until our 3rd night, again Summer evenings with such a beautiful patio and garden beside the lake would be a paradise place to sit with a cool glass of wine. I can appreciate this takes up Staff timetables and costs but if the Staff Rosta was done effectively then it could be achieved. Breakfast for example we usually saw 3 staff manning a buffet that really could be ran by 1 plus 1 other fetching the cooked foods. I used to work for a Caterer for the Royal Family, this aspect of the Hotel is the weakest part, the Staff work hard and are loyal, the management of these people should be reassessed to enable more functionality. ps. It has no Gymnasium"

"Nice stay with extraordonary location! Extremely Nice personnel, good food - both at breakfast and dinner! Nice spa (but I had preferred a little warmer water in The pool). Concider another visit!"
